Roll coating uses a series of rollers to apply stains and clear coats directly to a substrate
There are two conveyors used in this process with a curtain of clear coat between a gap in these two conveyors. The coating falls down on to the substrate as the substrate bridges the gap between the two conveyors. In this way, nothing touches the substrate except the coating and no texture is applied making for a very smooth finish.
