Leading The Way In Sustainable Use From Products & Process
.
Never in human history has it been more important to consider sustainability. Good stewardship of our resources directly affects our quality of life. The world’s forests don’t replenish as quickly as we can deplete them. APPI’s manufacturing process is specialized towards wood veneer which is the most sustainable way of incorporating the beauty of real wood into the design. It is vital that the wood veneer we use is harvested responsibly and sustainably. For this reason, APPI is proudly certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and leads the way in the sustainable use of our natural resources.
Experience You Can Count on
The craftsmen at APPI are experts in processing engineered composite veneers. Composite veneers incorporate African Obechi or Italian Poplar trees that are plantation-grown, easily renewable, and that mature quickly. Those base woods are then dyed and pressed into shapes to resemble other veneers such as rosewood or ebony. In this way, we are able to duplicate the rich beauty of rare, exotic veneers in the most sustainable way.
APPI operates industrial pre-finishing equipment featuring U.V. cured resins which are beautiful, durable, efficient, and sustainable. Our finishes do not include any solvents to off-gas into the atmosphere nor any over-spray to pollute the environment, making them the most environmentally friendly finishes on the market.
